"Hold on!"

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Caroll again. I was so excited when I found out that he was the accompaniest for Broadway Night, here at LHS. I am majorly involved in that event, from the planning to the performing. Mrs. Trip asked me and a couple other students to help her with the event. I am also performing in choir singing "Sweeney Todd" I think, dancing and singing "We Go Together" from Grease, and I have a solo. My solo is a very beautiful and strong piece from the Secret Garden called Hold on, and I'm so glad Mr. Caroll introduced that song to me because I fell for it the first time I heard it. Anyways, yesterday went really well. I really missed Mr. Caroll!

I can't wait until Broadway Night! It's May 7th at LHS! =]

Priest Brian Boller

Since it seems that Mr. L.'s schedule doesn't always work with mine, I asked Brian to be my second sponsor. This way no matter what, I have someone to go to each week. I was very excited when he said he would gladly help me in any way he could. Well, Brian is one of my church's main choir directors, so now I will get to see choir taught to children and adults. Also, I will experience the teaching of different types of music with different levels of difficulty.

I went to see Brian a couple times already and had a good time. He explained anything that I wanted to know to his best knowledge. He is probably going to teach me how to direct, even though I kind of already got the hang of it. There's always more room to learn and grow though.

Senior Trip!

Senior trip was everything I thought it was going to be, plus more. I had a blast hanging with all my friends and visiting places I have never been before. I have never been to Florida, so as soon as we arrived, I was really excited. We visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Hollywood Studios, and Downtown Disney, all in just a few days. I went on every single ride that was there. I loved Tower of Terror, Rock N' Rollercoaster, and Summit Plummit the most out of everything I went on.

At night, we all went swimming in the pool at the hotel, which was always heated to 82 degrees, which was so warm. =]

Beauty and the Beast!

While I was on my senior trip to Disney, I visited many parks including: Magic Kingdomg, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. In one of these amazing parks, I got to see a terrific and totally professional performance of Beauty and the Beast. Now, first of all, I absolutely love that musical, and second of all, I knew that that would be my connection to my project. These actors and actresses endured much practice and training in order to perfect such a complex little show with no mistakes. The lead singers' voices were superb. I was in completely in awe and ready to see it again.

Besides Beauty and the Beast, there were many more musical performances in the different parks we visited, and I wish I could remember all their names, but I can't, sorry. Maybe you'll just have to go to Disney and see for yourselves! =]
