Connection
When Amir and Soraya's engagment is cut short because Baba is dying, I thought about my friend Tanza. Tanza was pregnant with her second child, and mid-pregnancy she found out that her mother's cancer got worse. Her mother was so ill that she didn't have much longer to live. Tanza just wanted her mother to be able to meet her grandchild before she passed, just as Amir and Soraya wanted to get married before Baba died.
Culture

I stumbled upon the word kofta because I had no clue of the meaning. Well, kofta is a Middle-Eastern meatball. It can be made with beef, lamb, or fish, and spices.
Looks tasty! Once in a very blue moon a short entry like this one works, but I'm looing for each "episode" to spread out a little bit - at least five to seven sentences. When you run out of stuff to write, dig deeper.
ReplyDeleteKofta looks awesome and thats all that needs to be said. I can understand not having enough TIME to spread things out a little bit because I have the same issue. I think you did a good job and since my senior project is on culinary arts I would give you an A+! Yum Kofta!
ReplyDeleteKofta looks something that I eat. I understand that Mr. Abrams want more sentences, (but sometimes we are in a hurry and we also have a life):). Just keep working on it.
